There was a Sony event in town where you could test all Sony cameras and lenses, a bunch of third party lenses and a lot of other gear. Unfortunately, there was not much to photograph. They had one model for like 200 people which was just not enough.
Anyway, I was able to play with the A9, the 70-200mm f2.8 and the fabulous 85mm f1.8. The A9 blew me away. The autofocus was soo good and precises, even with the Sigma MC-11 and my Sigma 24mm f1.4. I used the 85mm on the model with the eye tracking. There was not a single shot which was not spot on. With the burst mode (20fps) I had over 300 shots in 2-3 minutes. No shot was out of focus.
The 70-200mm is also a very good lens. The same quality like the Nikons I used in the past. But it is just too heavy. I kills all the benefits of the Sony system and therefore, it makes no sense at all. At least not for me.
